finally
got there!. went out w/Ski and his son and we finally
got there. Had 'been' there once before but it was soooo
rough getting there and then there were like a dozen
boats already there so Ski made the wise decision
to turn around. Well this time we got there just fine
and dandy and there were only a few boats around. I
have since found out that there is TONS of structure
around, so you don't have to be exactly dead nutz on
the buoy.
Went down the line and sure enough there was a nice
anchor sitting there. Figured we'd pick it up on the
way back. The VIZ was decent so we headed out towards
the rubble piles. Ski and I got split up and I just
kept nice looking around. Ski was working it down there
and sure enough; in a few minutes I heard a nice "TONK"
as Ski fired off a shot. Well ole chit; a nice medium
sized shark comes buzzing by, fins down, moving fast;
apparently looking for the source of the 'dinner
bell'.
When I caught up w/Ski I signaled to him that there
was a shark around somewhere and to keep an eye out.
WHAT
WE LEARNED: Pavlov would have done just fine w/sharks!
