Comments: omg - what a hoot. Time for Shark Bay reTraining. They've added 3 new White Tip sharks and they've changed the behavior in the tank considerably. Ira gave us the lowdown and the new procedures and away we went. Tom, Craig and Larry were on team and I was with (insert name here) - I am SOOOO bad with names. I apologize. Heck, we even went out to dinner afterwards and I can't remember here name.

ANYHOOO.... it was a gas. A couple of extra hunder pounds of bioMass and then 5 flappy happy divers and well, we got to know each other on a first name basis. The White Tips certinaly do add a whole dimension to the experience. Butters was really wanting to play as well. Near the end of the dive it was such a hoot. Larry is giving me the sign of "LOOK" and "POINTING" and he started doing it faster and faster....it turned into a modified "SHARK" signal, well of course there was a shark to look at, we're in Shark Bay. It was only as I gazed up I saw how close one the Sand Tigers was as it eased over my head.
