Comments: here we go again on the same wreck; but that's more than OK with me. Gotta love it. Found out what I was doing 'wrong' as to why the Sony wouldn't turn on and I was ready for some footage. The VIZ was amazing for the Gulf at this time of year... maybe 20'~30' feet.

Went over the side... down by the anchor line, looked up to take a little footage of some of the numerous 'Cuda's hanging in the water column and the next thing I know I've dragged poor Ricki out over the sand. It's amazing how fast you can get 'lost' down there. We did 3 minute safety stop and came up about 100 freakin' yards from the boat.... I guess the current was running better than we thought as we hung out for 3 minutes.

AnyHoo... swam back and went down and .... ratZ... another couple of divers had showed up and being behind both SKI and Tom, the VIZ was really pretty crappy now. Oh well.... got a bunch of great shots of the all the bait on the wreck. it's truly amazing. What was even more amazing was as I was sitting on the line doing my 3 minutes safety stop I got 'attacked' by a baitball. It was totally whack. Wasn't really even looking and the next thing it is BLACK. I am IN the bait ball. It was wild how the bait ball made a 3D doughnut around the anchor line.... Now it's not the tiny little fish I'm worried about... it's what BALLING them up that I'm kinda concerned about... what if they smack the ball and don't see me until..

Well I didn't have time to turn on the camera, but it looks like I had accidentally left it ON so I accidentally got a few seconds of the bait ball on film.

Truly a blast.
